Allana competed with Australia at Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her go through a number of seasons without playing before switching back to Rugby League. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales in her first women's Rugby League match against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana has added radio to her repertoire, and she makes regularly appearances on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana Ferguson is a certified instructor outside of the sports world. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare distinction to have represented Australia at three sporting events, including Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson has been required to put an abrupt end to her rugby league professional career following the tear of her ACL four times. Ferguson has been in the sport for over 25 years. She, has previously suffered tears in the same ligaments in her teens 17, 17 and 20 and the fourth tear was a sign that her playing days were over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to quit early. Ferguson was injured in November, during a training session. The Courier Mail confirmed that the news came in this week. Ferguson has been the face of women's rugby league in the past few years.
